ONSF to Host 7th Annual Medical Education Conference

ONSF will hold its 7th Annual Medical Education Conference, entitled Caring for Athletes of all Ages, on Saturday, November 7th at the Greenwich Hospital Noble Conference Center. Professional Sportscaster, Dan Hicks, will deliver the Keynote presentation.  Conference chairpersons are Tamar Kessel, MD and Mark Vitale, MD.  There is no fee for the conference but registration is required.

This one-day seminar qualifies for CME or CEU credit and is designed to further enhance the education of physicians, nurses, physician assistants, physical and occupational therapists, athletic trainers and coaches. Course objectives include:

  • Review common sports injuries sustained in athletes of all ages
  • Review the appropriate non-operative and operative management of joint, bone, soft-tissue or neurological injury
  • Understand treatment options available and the athletes’ recovery process.

Seating is limited; therefore, early registration is suggested.  Continental breakfast, lunch and all program materials are complimentary. Registrations will be accepted until November 7, 2015 or until seating is no longer available.  Cancellations should be submitted to the  Foundation on or before November 2, 2015.
